Research Support Community Day 2015

Date:                                 Monday 2 February 2015
Time:                                9:00am – 5:00pm
Venue:                             Colombo Theatre A, Colombo Building, University of New South Wales

Following the success of the 2014 Research Support Community Day held in February at the University of Melbourne as a pre-conference event to VALA, a follow up event will be held in conjunction with Information Online 2015.

The program will include presentations from a variety of speakers including researchers, librarians and e-research specialists. There will be opportunities to network with other librarians and to hear what other Australian research and academic libraries are doing in the research support space.

The day is aimed at library staff with an interest in research support. You don’t have to be working in the area or have experience in delivering services to researchers; we would prefer a wide range of perspectives and welcome those new to academic libraries as well. Sessions will be facilitated by research librarians who face these issues every day, and there will be plenty of time for discussion.

Join us to explore developments and discuss the challenges of providing research support services.
